Job description

Role Overview:

We are urgently seeking two skilled QA professionals to support validation and quality assurance testing for Ignition MES Track & Trace modules and Jython scripting. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering robust, validated solutions in a manufacturing or life sciences environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for Ignition Track & Trace workflows.
  • Validate Jython scripts and Ignition MES modules in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP compliance standards.
  • Identify, log, and track software defects using standard defect tracking tools.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA leads, and project managers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of compliance documentation and assist in audit preparation.
  • Participate in test planning, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Hands-on experience with Ignition MES and Track & Trace module testing.
  • Strong understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in defect tracking, test documentation, and validation protocols.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective communicator and team player with the ability to work in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, or food & beverage.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and version control systems.
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.

Compensation: - $90,000 to $120,000 +/- and this position are also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 11/15/2025
