Job summary

Great Lakes Cheese, Inc. is seeking an MES Analyst to support, maintain, and enhance MES within the manufacturing environment. You will provide PLC and application support across MES, SPC, SQL, and PLC integrations, aiming to improve product quality, yield and equipment efficiency.

The role requires knowledge of Rockwell FactoryTalk, MS SQL Server, and PLC ladder logic, with willingness to travel up to 40% and support 24/7 operations. Office-based with potential plant-floor exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of shop-floor systems experience or a Bachelor's in CS/EE.
• Proficient in remote desktop access and ThinManager.
• Knowledge of Rockwell (FactoryTalk) solutions.
• Strong MS SQL Server knowledge.
• Experience with PLC Ladder Logic (Allen Bradley).
• Analytical and strong communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support shop floor systems and data integration across MES, SPC, SQL, and PLC integrations.
• Expand understanding of manufacturing processes to enhance systems solutions.
• Develop, implement, and support automation systems including DCS, PLC, and SCADA in manufacturing.
• Support HMI applications integrated with PLC and MES systems.
• Troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures to resolve production issues.
• Provide 24/7 support; travel up to 40% as projects require.
• Follow safety policies and contribute to Safe Quality Food program.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent, or Bachelor's degree in related field
