Job summary

Rocketlab is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their team in Long Beach, CA. This role involves developing full-stack software solutions that enhance Rocket Lab's operations and efficiency.

The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams, focusing on the Manufacturing Execution System, and must have a degree in a technical discipline and 2+ years of experience in software development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in manufacturing and aerospace industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on full-stack software solutions for Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Design and develop database schemas, back-end and front-end applications.

Skills

Proficiency in statically typed programming languages (e.g., C#)

Experience with modern TypeScript frameworks (e.g., Angular)

Strong knowledge of relational databases and REST APIs

Education

Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
