Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Application Engineering Manager to drive 1LMX MES acceleration and PLM capabilities across Aero operations. You will lead a technical team deploying CAMS, iBASEt and other tools, coordinating across sites and programs to transform operations.

The role requires strong leadership, deep MES/PLM expertise, and the ability to navigate complex deployments while maintaining sustainment.”

Qualifications

• Project management experience.
• Experience with requirements generation and specification development.
• MES implementation, integration, and sustainment in high‑mix, high‑volume manufacturing.
• Experience leading large‑scale sustainment programs and change‑control processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team of Application Engineers delivering MES solutions for business transformation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional leadership to align scope and strategy.
• Oversee a globally distributed team across Aero sites.
• Manage staffing, training, assignments, and performance reviews.
• Provide guidance to recruit, mentor, and develop team members.
