Responsibilities

• Support deployment and rollout of MES/POMSnet solutions across manufacturing sites.
• Configure Windows workstations, images, GPOs, and applications using SCCM.
• Support MES readiness, configuration, testing, and validation.
• Assist with templates, inventory tracking, reporting, and config management.
• Support change control, validation documentation, and compliance activities.
• Coordinate with sites, MES engineers, infrastructure, validation, quality, and vendor teams.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues related to hardware, software, network, and interfaces.
• Provide post-deployment support and stabilization; track activities and escalate risks.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced MES Deployment Engineer / POMSnet SME to support the deployment and operational readiness of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) environments across AbbVie manufacturing sites.
The role will focus on workstation imaging, application deployment, device configuration, validation, troubleshooting, and site rollout support to ensure MES environments are secure, compliant, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

• Support deployment and rollout of MES/POMSnet solutions across manufacturing sites.
• Configure and deploy Windows workstations, standard images, Group Policies, and applications using SCCM.
• Support MES workstation and device readiness, configuration, testing, and validation.
• Assist with deployment templates, inventory tracking, reporting, and configuration management.
• Support change control, validation documentation, and GxP compliance activities.
• Coordinate with manufacturing sites, MES engineers, infrastructure, validation, quality, and vendor teams.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues involving hardware, software, network connectivity, and system interfaces.
• Support replacement and modernization of legacy MES devices and infrastructure.
• Provide post-deployment support and stabilization.
• Track deployment activities, identify risks/issues, and
  escalate when required.
• Ensure all work follows company security, quality, validation, and compliance standards.

Required Skills

• 5 8 years of relevant IT/MES experience.
• Strong experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Experience working in GxP-regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of POMSnet.
• Experience with Windows workstation imaging and configuration.
• Experience with SCCM application deployment and Group Policy (GPO).
• Understanding of system validation, testing, change control, and documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Deep hands-on experience with POMSnet in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting MES implementations across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Experience with manufacturing infrastructure, device connectivity, and legacy system modernization.
