Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. seeks a merchandising professional to co-develop product strategies and increase sales and profitability for assigned categories through smart selection, pricing, displays and promotions.

You will own the full lifecycle of buying for your category, build vendor relationships, negotiate terms, plan assortments and promotions, and collaborate with inventory and store planning to ensure in-stock, properly featured products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred; experience may substitute education
• Five years of merchandising experience required
• Knowledge of general merchandising and inventory management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with Excel proficiency
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Develop category plans based on the strategic plan and ensure team alignment
• Own full lifecycle of buying for the category (sourcing, planning, buying, analysis, assortment, promotions, planograms)
• Engage in buying processes with vendor relations, product selection, negotiations, and communications with inventory/store planning teams
• Develop promotional strategies across the category and align with category goals
• Help establish category and individual objectives and hold the team accountable
