As a Merchandise Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to lead a team and create positive experiences for customers. Your role includes merchandising, processing freight, and assisting with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities encompass managing store cleanliness, adhering to safety guidelines, and ensuring a friendly environment. Preferred qualifications include prior retail management experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
