Job summary

As a Merchandise Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree, you'll support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and enhancing community experiences. This role involves merchandising and freight processing.

Your duties include daily store functions, securing assets, and ensuring the store meets cleanliness and safety standards. You will also manage freight flow and assist in ordering stock to maximize sales effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Manage freight flow and process receipt of DSD merchandise.
