Job summary

As a Merchandise Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree in Lehighton, you’ll support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and creating positive experiences. Your role involves merchandising, processing freight, and maintaining cleanliness in the store.

You’ll also manage freight flow, order merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is effective. Strong retail and communication skills are key to success, alongside the ability to lift and work in a high-energy team environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and ensure areas are presentable.
