Qualifications

• Less than high school education

• Access to a phone at all times
• Able to perform basic math calculations
• Able to work in a cooler (34 to 20 degrees) for minutes at a time

Responsibilities

• Answer customers' questions about merchandise and advise on selection.
• Observe shift hours as assigned by store manager/assistant manager.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and prompt service.
• Stock shelves, displays, racks, cases, bins, and tables with merchandise.
• Receive, open, unpack and issue stock for the sales floor.
• Clean and maintain display cases, shelves, equipment and aisles.
• Compare invoices to received items to ensure correct shipments.
• Record hours worked and sign time sheets.
• Discuss stock problems with the store manager/assistant manager.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the store manager/assistant manager.
