Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Midland, TX seeks a Merchandising Specialist to keep the front showroom stocked, faced, and inviting. You’ll greet customers, help locate merchandise, update displays, and assist with price labeling while supporting weekly merchandising tasks.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and occasional cashier duties or deliveries may be required. Strong organizational skills, basic computer ability, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to clearly read, write, and match numbers and letters from various sources.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist.
• Check in, price, and put up stock.
• Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities daily.
• Change displays according to company guidelines, update planograms, and update price labels.
• Remove sale material when sale ends and restore original pricing.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Work with manager to complete store weekly inventory and merchandising tasks.
• Occasionally serve as a cashier or drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries.
• All other duties as assigned.
