Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a store associate in Texas. You will greet customers, help locate merchandise, and direct them to a parts specialist when needed. You will check in stock, price items, and maintain displays while following company image guidelines.

You may also assist with inventory, planograms, and occasional cashier duties or delivery tasks. The role involves teamwork, basic computer use, and the ability to drive a manual transmission. Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to clearly read, write, and match numbers and letters from various sources.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
• Previous stocking experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise or direct to a parts specialist.
• Check in, price, and stock merchandise.
• Keep displays fronted, full, and support O'Reilly Image Maker duties daily.
• Update planograms and pricing, ensure sale signs are in place and restore after sale ends.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Support weekly store inventory and merchandising tasks with the manager.
• Occasionally act as cashier or drive deliveries when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Essential Job Functions

• Greet customers on sales floor, assist them in location of merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
• Check in, price, and put up stock.
• Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and assist with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities on a daily basis.
• Change displays according to company guidelines, update planograms, complete price label changes, ensure "sale" signs are in place, etc. Remove all sale material when sale ends and restore original pricing.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Work with manager to complete store weekly inventory and merchandising tasks.
• Occasionally serve as a cashier or drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries (Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements) when business needs dictate.
• All other duties as assigned.
