The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to perform and oversee various tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

As a FAST Team Member, you should be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with your District FAST Supervisor regarding work progress, issues, and solutions.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and promptly.
• Perform store measurements and cycle counts.
• Complete Tractor Way top cap process and hang signage.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Ask for added value.
• Ensure a memorable shopping experience that stands out from competitors.
• Provide peak coverage during high-traffic times (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Previous retail or merchandising experience is required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred skills and abilities

• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ethical conflict resolution.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

• Mostly indoor work with moderate noise.
• Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store.
• Travel between stores using personal vehicle, sometimes for extended periods.
• Maintain a safe, productive environment following safety guidelines.
• Work on hard surfaces, with adequate lighting and temperature.

Physical Requirements

• Travel as needed for district support.
• Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, climb ladders frequently.
• Access all store areas safely.
• Operate store equipment including computers and cash registers.
• Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers.
• Handle contact with birds/poultry.
• Complete required training successfully.
• Operate equipment like dollies, handtrucks, forklifts (if aged 18+), etc.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Drive a vehicle.
• Perform tasks while standing, walking, reaching overhead, and moving merchandise.
• Maintain physical and mental stamina for store movement and safety.
