The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, as well as provide support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of all signage. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

As a FAST Team Member, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling all the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with your District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and potential solutions.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and on time.
• Perform store-specific measurements.
• Conduct accurate cycle counts.
• Complete the Tractor Way top cap process.
• Hang store signage.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Ask to add value and appreciate the customer.

Ensure the customer has a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition. Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving). FAST Team Members may also be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Must be able to read, write, and count accurately regardless of education level.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
• Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments independently.

Working Conditions

• Generally indoor environment with moderate noise.
• Shifts typically no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
• Travel between store locations using personal vehicle, often for extended periods.
• Maintain a safe, productive work environment following safety guidelines.
• Work on hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt) with adequate lighting and temperature.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel as needed.
• Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, and climb ladders frequently.
• Access all store areas safely.
• Operate store equipment including computers and cash registers.
• Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Handle contact with birds/poultry.
• Complete all required training successfully.
• Operate equipment such as dollies, handtrucks, forklifts, balers, computers, and registers (forklift/baler not for under 18).
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Drive vehicles.
• Stand, walk, reach overhead, and transfer merchandise throughout the store.
• Maintain physical and mental stamina for quick, safe movement around the store and outdoor areas.
