Overall Job Summary

The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  2. Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday, subject to business needs.
  3. Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion and issues.
  4. Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
  5. Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
  6. Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts accurately.
  7. Complete the Tractor Way top cap process and store price changes promptly.
  8. Hang signage such as Circulars, Price Cuts, and Managers’ Specials.
  9. Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
  10. Ensure planogram integrity through detailed recovery and review.
  11. Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value.
  12. Ensure customers have a distinguished shopping experience.
  13. Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ years old. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory; the ability to read, write, and count is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
  • Self-directed with minimal assistance required.
Working Conditions
  • Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise.
  • Hard surfaces; adequate lighting and temperature.
  • Shifts generally range from 4 to over 8 hours.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines is mandatory.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Push/pull up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
  • Occasionally lift overhead and perform physical activities such as standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to complete documentation accurately.
  • Ability to handle contact with birds/poultry.
