Overall Job Summary
The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute "start to finish" tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday, unless otherwise required by business needs.
- Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor regarding work progress, issues, and solutions.
- Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
- Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Complete Tractor Way top cap process and store price changes.
- Hang store signage such as Circulars, Price Cuts, and Managers’ Specials.
- Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
- Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service via GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate.
- Ensure a differentiated shopping experience for customers.
- Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Self-directed with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor work environments with moderate noise.
- Hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt), adequate lighting and temperature.
- Shifts generally from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store.
- Adhere to safety guidelines to promote a safe environment.
Physical Requirements
- Move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds.
- Push and pull merchandise with equipment assistance.
- Lift or reach overhead as needed.
- Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, and climb ladders frequently.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
