The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

As a High Volume FAST Team Member, you should be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following:

  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday unless otherwise required by business needs.
  • Proactively communicate with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion and issues, offering solutions.
  • Accurately and timely complete planograms and resets.
  • Perform store-specific measurements and accurate inventory counts, including cycle counts.
  • Complete Tractor Way top cap process and store price changes accurately and on time.
  • Hang store signage, including Circulars, Price Cuts, and Managers’ Specials.
  • Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
  • Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
  • Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate.
  • Ensure customers have a distinguished shopping experience.
  • Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ years old.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred knowledge, skills, or abilities
  • Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution with minimal conflict.
  • Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments independently.
Working Conditions
  • Generally indoor environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt) in indoor floors and outdoor lots; lighting and temperature are adequate.
  • Work shifts vary, generally no less than 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours.
  • Maintain a safe, productive environment adhering to safety guidelines.
Physical Requirements
  • Move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment.
  • Occasionally lift or reach overhead.
  • Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, and climb ladders frequently.
  • Move throughout the store for entire shifts.
  • Read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Handle contact with birds/poultry.
  • Complete all required training successfully.
  • Stand and walk as needed, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently to provide excellent customer service.
