Overall Job Summary
The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, as well as provide support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of all signage. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
- Communicate proactively and regularly with District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and offer solutions to overcome.
- Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain visual merchandise standards.
- Perform store specific measurements.
- Complete store layout initiatives.
- Perform accurate cycle counts.
- Complete Tractor Way top cap process.
- Hang store signage.
- Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs.
- Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
- Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
- Greet the Customer.
- Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants.
- Recommend Product Solutions.
- Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
- Ensure the customer has a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.
- Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ and have a valid driver’s license.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities
- Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
- Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments independently.
Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise; shifts vary, often no less than 4 hours.
- Travel in personal vehicle required; long periods possible.
- Maintain a safe, productive environment following safety guidelines.
- Hard surfaces like concrete and asphalt, with adequate lighting and temperature.
Physical Requirements
- Travel as needed.
- Push, pull, lift merchandise up to 50 pounds; occasionally reach overhead.
- Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, climb ladders.
- Operate store equipment and communicate effectively.
- Handle contact with birds/poultry.
- Complete training successfully.
- Operate equipment (e.g., forklift if 18+).
- Physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and driving.
