Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
  • Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor regarding work progress and issues.
  • Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
  • Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements.
  • Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
  • Hang store signage, assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
  • Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
  • Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value, and Appreciate customers.
  • Ensure a memorable shopping experience that differentiates from competitors.
  • Provide peak coverage during special periods (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding fields.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
  • Self-directed with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
  • Primarily indoor with moderate noise; outdoor work involves hard surfaces and outdoor lots.
  • Shifts generally range from 4 to over 8 hours, including travel between stores in personal vehicle.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Travel as needed; ability to push/pull merchandise up to 2000 lbs with equipment.
  • Lift/reach merchandise overhead; stand, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders.
  • Operate store equipment; communicate effectively; handle contact with birds/poultry.
  • Complete training; operate store equipment; lift up to 50 lbs; drive vehicle; stand, walk, kneel, reach overhead.
