Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, as well as providing support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

As a FAST Team Member, it is essential to be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented to fulfill the following requirements:

1. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
2. Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
3. Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and solutions.
4. Complete planograms and resets accurately and timely.
5. Maintain visual merchandise standards.
6. Perform store-specific measurements.
7. Complete store layout initiatives.
8. Perform accurate cycle counts.
9. Complete Tractor Way top cap process.
10. Hang store signage.
11. Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
12. Review planogram integrity through detailed recovery.
13. Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate.
14. Ensure a distinctive shopping experience that sets us apart from competitors.
15. Provide peak coverage during high-demand times (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding preferred. Must be 18+ and hold a valid driver’s license.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential regardless of education level.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

• Generally indoor environment with moderate noise.
• Shifts usually no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
• Travel between store locations in personal vehicle required.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and promoting a safe work environment.
• Hard surfaces in indoor and outdoor areas; adequate lighting and temperature.

Physical Requirements

• Travel as needed.
• Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, climb ladders frequently.
• Access all store areas safely.
• Operate store equipment and communicate effectively.
• Handle and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Complete training successfully.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts if age-appropriate.
• Sit, stand, walk, kneel, reach overhead, and move throughout the store.
