Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
  • Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor about work completion and issues.
  • Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
  • Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
  • Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
  • Hang store signage and assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
  • Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
  • Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Ask to add value, and show Appreciation.
  • Ensure a differentiated shopping experience.
  • Provide peak coverage during special events (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; reading, writing, and counting skills are essential.

  • Self-directed with minimal assistance needed.
Working Conditions
  • Indoor and outdoor work environments with moderate noise.
  • Shifts typically no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
  • Travel between store locations using personal vehicle, often long distances.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines to promote a safe work environment.
  • Work on hard surfaces with adequate lighting and temperature.
Physical Requirements
  • Travel as needed.
  • Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
  • Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
  • Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, climb ladders.
  • Operate store equipment and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Handle contact with birds/poultry.
  • Complete required training successfully.
  • Operate equipment like forklifts if qualified.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, reaching overhead.
  • Move merchandise safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain physical and mental stamina for store activities.
