Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor about work progress and issues.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
• Complete store layout initiatives and cycle counts.
• Hang store signage and assemble merchandise and fixtures.
• Review planogram integrity and deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value.
• Ensure a differentiated shopping experience for customers.
• Provide peak coverage during special events (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience in retail and/or merchandising is required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; ability to read, write, and count accurately is necessary.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

• Mostly indoor with moderate noise; outdoor work on hard surfaces.
• Varying shifts, often 4-8 hours, with travel between stores using personal vehicle.
• Adherence to safety guidelines is mandatory.

Physical Requirements

• Travel as needed; lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull merchandise up to 2000 pounds with equipment.
• Stand, kneel, reach overhead, and operate store equipment.
• Ability to handle contact with birds/poultry and complete training.
