Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to execute tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, nights, and overtime as needed.
  • Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor regarding work progress and issues.
  • Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
  • Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
  • Perform cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
  • Hang store signage and assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
  • Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
  • Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value.
  • Ensure a differentiated shopping experience for customers.
  • Provide peak coverage during high-traffic periods.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding preferred.
  • Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
  • Self-directed with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
  • Mostly indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor work may be required.
  • Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
  • Travel between store locations using personal vehicle; long periods may be involved.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Travel as needed; ability to push/pull up to 2000 lbs with equipment.
  • Lift or reach overhead occasionally; stand, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders.
  • Operate store equipment; handle merchandise up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and complete all training.
