Job summary

TJX Companies’ HomeGoods Avon store is seeking an enthusiastic team member to execute receiving and merchandising standards. You’ll ensure efficient processing, engage customers, and keep the store clean and organized, providing an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll train associates, manage truck deliveries, tag and code merchandise, and support leadership on inventory flow, signage, and safety policies, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Superior communication and organizational skills.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on established merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness and recovery standards for the backroom area.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
