Job summary

TJX Companies’ HomeGoods store in San Diego is seeking a team-oriented associate to execute receiving and merchandising tasks, maintain an inviting customer experience, and support daily operations. You will help ensure accurate tagging, organized back stock, and effective communication with the management team, while promoting safety and product integrity.

The role requires the ability to multitask, work a flexible schedule, and lead by example in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure efficient processing.
• Provide an excellent customer experience through engagement and service.
• Organize back stock, rotate merchandise, and maintain signage standards.
• Train Associates on merchandising, processing principles, and safety.
• Monitor team productivity and coach as needed to meet store goals.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and safety procedures.
• Support shrink reduction programs and participate in improvement initiatives.
• Communicate priorities and progress with management and staff.
