Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Merchandising Assistant to support the Merchandising Team with cost changes, billings, customer support, and data integrity review. The role involves coordinating contracts, managing pricing, and ensuring accurate vendor data on the East Coast.

The position requires 1-2 years of relevant experience and a general equivalency diploma or high school diploma. Travel is not required and standard office hours apply.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer contracts by monitoring outbound costs and pricing.
• Coordinate pricing changes and overrides with manufacturing partners.
• Monitor billings, including flyers, deposits, and deals, against gross profit budgets.
• Maintain data quality by flagging incorrect item/vendor attributes in the system.
• Communicate with customers daily and track progress of new items.
• Support at least one merchandiser in weekly tasks and merchandising/marketing plans for the East Coast.
