Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Operations Associate to partner with merchants and support order management, onboarding of assistants, and cross-functional workflow improvements.

You will analyze processes, communicate across teams, and help reduce cost and processing time while upholding company values. The role requires 2-3 years merchandising experience and strong Excel skills; travel to market locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience.
• 2-3 years of merchandising experience required.
• Off-price retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent organization and attention to detail, with ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generates ideas and solutions to streamline merchandising processes.
• Serve as subject matter expert for assigned merchant categories.
• Identify benefits of proposed solutions and track outcomes.
• Influence order writing decisions by collaborating with vendors and buyers.
• Develop strong working relationships with Merchant Partners and cross-functional teams.
• Resolve order challenges through collaborative problem-solving.
