Job summary

Pure Beauty Farms, headquartered in Miami, FL, seeks a Merchandising Manager to oversee merchandising across garden centers in the Southeast. You will manage staff, coordinate store visits, and ensure product placement, rotation, and display execution meet standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three years of sales experience.
• Minimum of three years of merchandising experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience with plants, gardening, horticulture, landscaping, or related field.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.

Job Summary

The Merchandising Manager is responsible for overseeing merchandising teams and activities across assigned garden center locations. This position ensures that merchandising, inventory rotation, product placement, staffing, and store execution meet Pure Beauty Farms’ standards.

The Manager will regularly visit assigned stores, oversee product deliveries and merchandising execution, coordinate staffing based on business needs, and maintain strong working relationships with store management and personnel.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, support, and motivate assigned merchandising team members.
• Coordinate staffing needs for regular schedules, product deliveries, special events, seasonal periods, and high-traffic business needs.
• Maintain a positive and productive team environment through consistent communication, coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Travel to and visit assigned store locations on a regular basis to ensure merchandising and operational standards are being met.
• Ensure garden center displays are clean, organized, properly stocked, rotated, and visually appealing.
• Assist merchandising teams with product placement, rotation, and display execution to maximize product visibility and sales.
• Ensure all products and orders shipped from the farm are properly delivered, received, merchandised, and executed within assigned stores and regions.
• Adjust and reroute merchandising team members based on product deliveries, store priorities, staffing levels, and changing business needs.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and perform spot inventory counts and product checks as needed.
• Utilize company systems and software to research, analyze, and track sales, inventory, purchases, deliveries, and other business information.
• Work closely with store managers and store personnel to execute merchandising strategies and address operational needs.
• Respond to customer and store concerns professionally and work toward timely resolutions that support positive, long-term business relationships.
• Participate in operational, sales, merchandising, and leadership calls and meetings as required.
• Partner with Human Resources to support recruiting efforts, including participating in interviews and completing required pre-hire documentation.
• Ensure team members follow company policies, procedures, schedules, and merchandising expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on operational and business needs.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of sales experience.
• Minimum of three years of merchandising experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with plants, gardening, horticulture, landscaping, or a related field.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to drive regularly between assigned store locations.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors for extended periods.
• Ability to work in hot, humid, cold, rainy, and other varying weather conditions.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to frequently bend, stretch, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform other physical activities associated with merchandising.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for periods of time as required.
