Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. invites undergraduates to join a 10-week Merchandising Internship in San Francisco, onsite 4 days a week. You’ll rotate with a category team (furniture, tabletop, bath, etc.), gain hands-on product strategy experience, and develop your own recommendations.

You’ll work with mentors and leaders, attend critical meetings, lead projects, and present final ideas to executives. The program emphasizes fresh perspectives, cross-functional collaboration, and real business impact.

Qualifications

• Passionate about product, home decor, and retail.
• Keep up with home design trends.
• Currently in your junior year of an undergraduate program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5.
• Able to work onsite at one of our brands in San Francisco.
• Know how to prioritize and move quickly to react to our ever-changing business.
• Think strategically and critically to solve problems.
• Have Excel experience: vlooks-ups, pivot tables, etc…

Responsibilities

• Attend business-critical meetings and lead projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product recommendations.
• Analyze data to inform pricing and strategy.
• Present ideas to executive leadership at program end.
