Job summary

Bunge offers a Merchandising Internship designed to introduce you to value chains across the grain industry. You will learn to create sales and growth in the marketplace, develop arbitrage and risk management skills to reach profitability goals.

Locations include Terra Haute IN, Prairie du Chien WI, Huntley MT, Rock Port MO, Henderson KY, Creston IA, Morristown IN, Council Bluffs IA and Fairmont City IL. Location to be determined and relocation required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled pursuing a Bachelor's degree/MBA in Agribusiness, Economics, Business or related discipline
• Preference is Junior status in the university
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Must be professionally aggressive self-motivated
• Able to function in fast paced environment
• Deliver customer excellence to our Bunge customers

Responsibilities

• Proactive development and coverage of existing sales and supplier accounts. Development of prospective accounts
• Obtaining market knowledge and insight through continuous communication with product suppliers, customers, and transportation vendors
• Facilitating and scheduling logistics for timely product delivery using barge, rail and truck transportation modes
• Obtain and develop merchandising skills to provide a base for future
• Improve Bunge's outcomes by making data-driven decisions, keeping the customer at the forefront for all they do, and proactively gaining insight into the global strategy.
• Collaborate, effectively communicate with others
• Pursue opportunities to solve problems and take action while maintaining the ability to manage work
