Job summary

Apolis in St. Louis is seeking a Merchandising Display Specialist with a strong background in industrial design and structural corrugated packaging to develop innovative temporary displays.

From concept and 3D design through testing, manufacturing, co-packing and retail deployment, you will collaborate with Brand, Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, QA, Graphic Designers, vendors and co-packers.

This contract-driven role requires travel up to 20% and a readiness to work hybrid on-site and remote.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of structural corrugated packaging experience.
• Strong knowledge of corrugated materials and secondary packaging.
• Experience with retail displays, POP, promotional packaging, or merchandising vehicles.
• Ability to conceptualize designs in 3D and understand structural requirements.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and web-based tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and work in a pet-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative, structurally sound, and cost-effective retail displays and promotional packaging.
• Create concepts, 3D designs, specifications, and packaging requirements.
• Conduct/manage ship testing and structural integrity testing.
• Collaborate with Brand, Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, QA, Graphic Designers, vendors, and co-packers.
• Manage supplier/co-packer relationships and support projects from concept through deployment.
• Identify opportunities for cost, material, labor, and structural improvements.
