Job summary

Harvey Nash seeks a Merchandising Associate to join the Dataspecialists team in Matawan, NJ. You will liaise with merchandisers, vendors, stores, and C&S warehouse to streamline workflows and ensure accurate offers, costs, and pricing.

You will analyze weekly trends, support promotional planning, and coordinate vendor events while maintaining data accuracy and timely communications with internal stakeholders. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook proficiency.
• Grocery industry experience a plus.
• Experience with SAP a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Merchandiser on creating Ad Offers and implementing Manufacturer DealContracts into SAP.
• Review and QC Weekly AdConfidential to ensure offers are built correctly with accurate Items, Costs, and Retail Prices.
• Assist in addressing issues related to Offers at Store Level once Ad Week goes live.
• Analyze Center Store Department TLOG Sales and Syndicated Market Trends weekly, and communicate insights to Merchandisers.
• Monitor and report GPM Trends weekly with focus on opportunities.
• Maintain item hierarchy and data accuracy across catalogs.
