Job summary

Staffmark Group in Morristown, TN is hiring a Merchandising Crew Member to support store remodels, planograms, and merchandise placement. The role requires lifting, standing, and traveling Monday through Thursday with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred and ability to read, understand and follow written instructions, floor plans and planograms.
• Strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills are required.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight Monday through Thursday as needed.

Responsibilities

• Tear down, reset, and install retail shelving, fixtures, displays, and merchandising layouts.
• Read and execute planograms to ensure accurate product placement and store presentation.
• Unload merchandise, shelving, and fixtures from delivery trucks.
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise according to company and customer standards.
• Apply shelf labels, signage, and pricing materials as required.
• Assist with retail store remodels, merchandising projects, and fixture installations.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within scheduled labor hours.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working with store personnel and project teams.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and project guidelines.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, floor plans, and planograms.
• Additional retail, merchandising, or construction-related training is a plus.

Experience Requirements

• Previous merchandising, retail reset, store remodel, warehouse, stocking, assembly, or labor experience preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed project instructions and complete assignments accurately.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight Monday through Thursday as required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Capable of handling shelving, fixtures, merchandise, and project materials.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work in active retail environments.
• Ability to work extended periods on store remodel and merchandising projects.
• Must be able to travel regularly and work at various retail locations.
