Do It Best Group, headquartered in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking an Associate Merchandise Manager to collaborate with vendors and members on product selection, pricing strategy, and promotional offers. This role requires analytical skills, strong organization, and effective communication to support business growth.

The position involves negotiating Market specials, managing inventory, and supporting merchandising decisions to drive member satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business-related field or equivalent retail, sales, or wholesale/distribution experience.
• Must be computer proficient, especially Excel and Microsoft.

Responsabilités

• Assist with administration and development of appropriate product mix for members, including product selection, evaluations, and reviews.
• Balance maintenance of member and retail pricing, and update product information.
• Respond to retail member questions and explain product choices/changes.
• Implement changes to stocking items and new products.
• Aid in the biannual Market convention preparation and negotiation of Market specials.
• Develop, negotiate, and submit promotional offers.
• Manage and monitor inventory of the Department to meet turns and service level.
