Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Norwich, NY (Marshalls Store 1488) is seeking a customer-focused associate to greet shoppers, ring purchases, process returns, and keep the store clean and organized. You may be cross-trained to assist in multiple areas to support the business.

We look for excellent service skills, adaptability, and the ability to multitask. Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $16.50 per hour, with benefits and a competitive overall package.

• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned
