Job description

The actual hourly rate will be equal to or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses, or premiums, paid per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

The responsibilities include keeping the front floor area stocked, fronted, and clean; stocking merchandise according to planograms or displays; completing sales preparation; and greeting customers on the sales floor. In large installer volume stores, this may also include serving as a stock puller for the installer area.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  1. Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
  2. Check in, price, and put up stock.
  3. Keep merchandise on the display floor fronted, full, and clean daily.
  4. Make all out-front price changes.
  5. Ensure all 'sale' signs are in place, the sales flyer rack is stocked, and sufficient quantities of sale merchandise are on display.
  6. Remove all sale material when the sale ends and restore original pricing.
  7. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
  8. Work with management to complete store To-Do List and team weekly tasks. Act as the main shoplifting deterrent and front floor security.
  9. Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
  10. Clock in/out according to company policy.
  11. Work with ISS to pull and stage installer deliveries for the delivery specialist.
  12. Assist with determining the most efficient and safe routes for delivery specialists.
  13. Coordinate and ensure completion of quarterly vehicle inspections and maintenance with ISS and delivery specialists.
May serve as HUB Store Order Puller

Pull parts quickly and accurately from pick tickets and prepare for delivery to stores serviced by the Hub store. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Receive orders from the warehouse to be pulled and shipped by delivery out of the Hub store.
  2. Inspect any boxes that are returned or old to ensure parts are in good condition.
  3. Keep a clean, safe work area.
  4. Operate in a safe manner for the benefit of self and others. Maintain a watchful eye for unsafe practices and situations.
Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities
Required:
  • Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences and good organizational skills.
  • Previous stocking experience and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly desired.
