Canteen North America is seeking a Merchandiser – Route Driver for Madison, WI. You will drive a company vehicle on an established route to deliver products, maintain inventory, and provide top-notch service to clients and customers each day.

The role requires 3 years of driving experience, a valid license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Full-time or part-time positions with a $1K sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered. Immediate start.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Before each route, ensure the truck is loaded with all required product.
• Maintain inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Load totes and move products to machines; return empty totes to truck.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness at client locations.
• Provide customer satisfaction in all aspects of job performance.
• Clean and sanitize vending machines and related equipment.
• Make minor service adjustments and report defective equipment.

Job Details

• Position: MERCHANDISER – ROUTE DRIVER (full time)
• Location: Canteen – 2305 Daniels Street, Madison, WI 53718 (online applications only)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 am start time
• Hiring: Immediate; Commission eligibility may apply to all Canteen driving roles

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prior to each route, ensure the truck is properly loaded with all required product.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Load hand cart with totes of product, walk to the machines, load them, and return to truck with empty totes.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at client vending locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines; report defective equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate machine product and inventory data via a handheld computer.
• Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services.
• Listen to and resolve service complaints; report all complaints to supervisor promptly.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue promotion materials to customers.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash collected, and product.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation according to established procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
