Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to service product in multiple stores, with travel between accounts. You will work on-site in Windsor, VA, following a set schedule and upholding corporate standards for merchandising and display.

Responsibilities include replenishing products, maintaining planograms, and recording hours via company apps. Requires strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising in a retail environment following store and corporate standards.
• Replenish product safely and efficiently; assemble shelves and displays as directed.
• Service assigned stores on schedule; obtain approvals for out-of-hours work.
• Record work hours and information using designated apps.
• Coordinate duties with store personnel and Supervisor as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

• Competitive Wage $15 to include Travel time between accounts is paid.

Direct Reports:

None

Schedule:

• Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to the established schedule.

Travel:

Travel expected up to 100% of the time to cover territory

Requirements:

Employment contingent on background check, 4 panel drug test (does not include THC), and MVR clearance.

Summary of Responsibilities:

100% Merchandising

• Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards. Safely and efficiently replenish product. May assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising. Seek prior approval from Supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours.
• Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties requested by store personnel not listed herein with Supervisor before performing those duties.

Other duties as assigned.

• Work stores as scheduled.
• Handle all product correctly, including returns.
• Follow planograms (POGs), flowcharts, etc.
• Regular communication with Supervisor.
• Develop relationships with store personnel.
