Job summary

McClatchy Company is seeking an on-site Part-Time Merchandiser to service multiple stores and travel between accounts, with travel time paid. The role reports to the Supervisor of Merchandising and spans the 30045 area.

Expect a 100% merchandising focus with a designated weekday schedule and the need for reliable transportation. Background checks and drug testing are part of the employment process, and familiarity with Movista is a plus.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising: Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying store/corporate standards.
• Safely and efficiently replenish product and may assemble shelves or display cases.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising.
• Record work hours and other company data using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing duties not listed herein.

Reports To: Supervisor of Merchandising

Compensation

• Competitive Wage $15 to include Travel time between accounts is paid.

• Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to the established schedule.

Travel

Travel expected up to 100% of the time to cover territory

Employment contingent on background check, 4 panel drug test (does not include THC), and MVR clearance.

Summary of Responsibilities

100% Merchandising

• Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards. Safely and efficiently replenish product. May assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising. Seek prior approval from Supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours.
• Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties requested by store personnel not listed herein with Supervisor before performing those duties.

Other duties as assigned.

• Work stores as scheduled.
• Handle all product correctly, including returns.
• Follow planograms (POGs), flowcharts, etc.
• Regular communication with Supervisor.
• Develop relationships with store personnel.
