Job summary

Bernick’s is seeking a part-time merchandiser to cover an individualized route across various accounts in Minnesota, including Little Falls. The role involves stocking, rotating, and displaying products on shelves and in coolers, as well as maintaining neat back-room stock.

Hours are 20–30 per week with some weekday and alternating weekend shifts. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, with mileage reimbursement. You may travel to support multiple Bernick’s locations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record meeting Bernick’s standards.
• Reliable transportation with mileage reimbursement (64 cents per mile).
• Ability to operate under minimal supervision.
• Regularly lift and move product weighing 50–100 pounds.
• Travel may be required to support various Bernick’s locations, events, or business needs.
• Handle, move, and work with products including alcoholic beverages, nicotine products, pork products, and other regulated goods.

Responsibilities

Job Summary: Our merchandisers are a very important part of making sure our accounts are looking their best. They cover an individualized route of various accounts and are responsible for restocking, rotating, facing, and removing outdated product. Merchandisers neatly organize store shelves, coolers, and design creative displays in our accounts such as: convenient stores, grocery stores, or other large customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location using equipment provided
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts
• Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition

Hours: Part-Time (20-30 hours)

• 1-2 days during the week and e very other weekend

Requirements

• Have a valid driver’s license; driving record which meets Bernick’s standard
• Have a reliable, insured form of transportation to be used while working (mileage reimbursement at 64 cents per mile, from the first to the last stop)
• Ability to operate under minimal supervision
• Regularly lift and move product weighing 50-100 pounds
• Repetitively bend, lift, twist while moving product about
• Effectively communicate with store associates
• Travel may be required as part of this role to support various Bernick’s locations, events, or business needs. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted as part of the hiring process and evaluated in relation to the requirements of the role.
• Team members in this position may be required to handle, move, and work with a variety of products, including alcoholic beverages, nicotine products, pork products, and other regulated consumer goods.
