• 1 year experience performing clerical duties.

Responsibilities

• Places purchase orders for basic forecasted repetitive and standing programs.
• Checks basic stock assortment for additions and deletions; initiates inter-store transfers; returns merchandise to warehouse and overstock to vendors.
• Assists in preparing model stock plans and seasonal buying plans; analyzes historical data for buying plans.
• Responds to inquiries from field Exchanges and vendors; coordinates with departments to share merchandising information; prepares master stock lists.
• Assigns style numbers and maintains UPC files.
• Assists in preparing advertising sheets and vendor inserts for major promotions.
• Participates in retail marketing meetings and trainings; stays updated on market trends.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
