Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Merchandiser Lead to partner with the Merchandising Supervisor, train staff, and coach merchandisers. You will be scheduled to merchandise accounts and support daily operations in the field.

Responsibilities include onboarding, conducting capability-building sessions, monitoring field activities on an iPad, and performing weekly store audits with the team. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and minimum of one year of work experience required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience in grocery, retail, warehouse, manual labor, or related field is required.
• Prior merchandising and leadership experience preferred.
• Experience working with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) certification upon hire is required.
• Basic computer applications and technology skills; knowledge of how to operate a smart phone, iPad and/or laptop.
• Flexibility with work hours; able to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays due to customer needs.
• Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines including no major violations within the last three years.

• Covers open merchandiser routes and fulfills daily activities completed by a merchandiser as needed.
• Ensure teammates receive proper safe working techniques in the trade and that they have the proper equipment. Identify and report any unsafe working conditions. Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Job Summary
