Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group is seeking a full‑time Merchandiser in the Pleasanton, CA area. You will creatively showcase our brands by building displays, stocking shelves, and managing product placement at customer locations.

You must have reliable transportation to travel to accounts daily, and you will gain beer, wine, and spirits knowledge while representing Breakthru with professionalism and safety. This role covers Oakland, Walnut Creek, Castro Valley and Pleasanton.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older to apply.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrate professionalism and good judgment.
• Able to work occasional weekends.
• Able to lift 45–65 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise daily in new and existing accounts: stock shelves, build displays, manage POS materials, and perform store resets for remodels, openings or seasonal changes.
• Build rapport with key accounts and relay feedback to the sales team; identify brand/category opportunities and opportunities to expand shelf and cold box facings.
• Learn and grow beer, wine, and/or spirit knowledge for our brands and customers; handle beverage alcohol products responsibly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily merchandising in new and existing accounts:
• Stocking and rotating shelves
• Building displays
• POS material management
• Store resets for remodels, grand openings or seasonal changes
• Build strong rapport with key account relationships and obtain feedback on merchandising activities. Share feedback with appropriate sales team members to
• Identify brand/category opportunities
• Identify opportunities to expand shelf and cold box facings
• Communicate out of stock or new item opportunities
• Learn and grow beer, wine, and/or spirit knowledge for brands and our customers.
• Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product & conduct safe and responsible interactions with the public.
• Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older to apply, prefer HS Diploma or equivalent
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Top-shelf customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate high levels of professionalism and sound judgment
• Able to work occasional weekends
• Able to lift and carry 45-65 pounds

Salary And Benefit Statement

Compensation

• $17.28/hr - $23.25/hr
• Mileage Reimbursement at 70 cents per Business Miles driven
• $500 sign-on bonus!
