Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Whitestown, IN, and Carmel is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer locations, following planograms and communicating with store management. Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in retail settings.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little supervision.
• Has strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and shelf according to procedures and programs.
• Physically moves product from backroom to display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelve where permitted; rotates merchandise and checks vendor operations.
• Organizes and maintains back room and arranges return of damaged/out-of-date product.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests and opportunities.
