Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group is seeking a Merchandiser to showcase our brands by building displays, managing inventory and optimizing product placement at customer locations.

You will travel to accounts, stock and rotate shelves, and collaborate with the sales team. Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 45–65 lbs are required. Schedule Tue–Sat, 8:00am–4:30pm MST.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include 21 years or older and HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Professionalism and sound judgment are essential.
• Occasional weekend work and ability to lift 45–65 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise daily in new and existing accounts; stock and rotate shelves.
• Build displays and manage POS material; assist with resets.
• Develop strong rapport with key accounts and gather feedback.
• Identify brand opportunities and expand shelf/cold box facings.
• Communicate stock or new item opportunities to sales team.
• Learn beer, wine, and spirits knowledge for our customers.
• Handle beverage products responsibly and maintain safety.

Job Description Summary

As a Merchandiser at Breakthru Beverage, you will creatively showcase our brands through building displays, managing inventory and product placement. If you are the type to roll up your sleeves, have a desire to progress your career in sales — and have a car to drive to our customers’ locations — then come join our fun, family-based culture.

Work Schedule - Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00am - 4:30pm MST. Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from accounts daily.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily merchandising in new and existing accounts: Stocking and rotating shelves
• Building displays POS material management
• Store resets for remodels, grand openings or seasonal changes
• Build strong rapport with key account relationships and obtain feedback on merchandising activities.
• Share feedback with appropriate sales team members to Identify brand/category opportunities
• Identify opportunities to expand shelf and cold box facings
• Communicate out of stock or new item opportunities
• Learn and grow beer, wine, and/or spirit knowledge for brands and our customers.
• Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product & conduct safe and responsible interactions with the public.
• Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older to apply, prefer HS Diploma or equivalent
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Top-shelf customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate high levels of professionalism and sound judgment
• Able to work occasional weekends
• Able to lift and carry 45-65 pounds

Physical Requirements

Frequently sit, stand, bend, squat, and reach. Frequently climb up and down a ladder. Regularly lift 45-65 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.

Salary and Benefit Statement

Any salary offered is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience.

• Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
• $2,400 Annual Car Allowance.
• Company-issued gas card.
• $500 sign-on bonus!
• This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
