Job summary

Ring's End, Inc. in Wilton, CT is hiring a full-time Merchandiser to keep our retail team organized and up to speed. You will move merchandise from order to customer receipt, assist customers, and maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

You’ll check shipments for accuracy and quality, keep records, and help prepare the store for opening and closing. We value leadership, teamwork, and excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Flexible and adaptable to changes that may affect position.
• Ability to quickly count and perform simple addition.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting 100 lbs and standing all day.
• Willingness to use current technology and learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Move store merchandise from point-of-order to point-of-customer receipt.
• Provide direct and indirect service to customers and maintain stock levels on floor and in stockroom.
• Check in shipments and store orders for accuracy and quality Condition.
• Keep accurate records, prepare the store for opening/closing, and guide coworkers.

As our Merchandiser, you ensure smooth retail operations through the movement of store merchandise from point-of-order to point-of-customer receipt. You provide direct and indirect service to customers and maintain appropriate inventory levels on the sales floor as well as in the stockroom. You're busy checking in shipments and store orders for accuracy, completeness, and quality condition as well as checking incoming or outgoing shipments. You keep accurate records and files, prepare the store for opening and closing, keep items in good condition, guide other workers, and help anywhere else you can.
