Job summary

A&B Distributors in Tulsa, OK is seeking a full-time Merchandiser to build and maintain attractive product displays, ensure shelves and coolers are stocked, and align with brand standards across local accounts.

You will rotate products, check pricing, execute planograms, and report inventory needs while traveling between accounts with a company vehicle. The role requires mornings, weekends, and holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license.
• Prior merchandising or retail experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move products; ability to work in varying environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain product displays; ensure shelves, coolers and floor placements are stocked and visually appealing.
• Rotate products to maintain freshness and manage inventory per company standards.
• Ensure all products are priced and labeled accurately.
• Execute planograms and seasonal display programs; support promotions.
• Partner with Account Managers to meet sales goals and promotional activities.
• Develop strong relationships with store personnel for premium in-store execution and issue resolution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance in all accounts.
• Communicate inventory and merchandising needs to the appropriate team.
• Safely operate company vehicle according to policy.
• Represent the company and its brands with professionalism and customer service.
• Early morning starts, weekends and holidays may be required; travel between accounts daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain product displays, ensuring shelves, coolers, and floor placements are fully stocked and visually appealing.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness and manage inventory levels according to company standards.

• Execute planograms, promotional materials, and seasonal display programs.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance in all accounts.
• Communicate inventory and merchandising needs to the appropriate team members.

• Represent the company and its brands with professionalism, pride, and a focus on customer service.
• Early morning start times, weekends and holidays may be required depending on account needs.
• This is a full-time position with daily local travel between accounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Prior merchandising or retail experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow visual merchandising standards
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements: This role requires regular standing, walking and reaching. Must be able to regularly lift and move products up to 150 pounds, as well as climb, reach, and perform other physical movements necessary to carry out the essential duties of the position. Position requires wearing steel-toed footwear. Ability to work in varying environments, including refrigerated areas and outdoor conditions.
