Responsibilities

• Make daily calls to assigned on- and off-premise accounts to maximize displays, POS opportunities, shelf placement, and signage.
• Set merchandising priorities to ensure high visibility for displays and signage.
• Install displays according to specifications including POS, pricing, rebates, decorations, and display approvals.
• Monitor and improve shelving and cold box placements; assist sales with new placement locations.
• Assist in setting up salesrooms and event sites per manager’s instructions.
• Deliver glassware and large promotional kits to accounts.
• Maintain a clean, stocked van or car to maximize display time.
• Assist in POS/Perma Trak with POS will calls, documentation, receiving and restocking POS deliveries.
• Manage an assigned account base to ensure priorities are completed on time.
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly documentation to the Direct Manager.

JOB SUMMARY

Execute brand standard merchandising activities within on and off premise accounts for assigned products. Utilize negotiating and selling skills to execute and achieve monthly goals. Support Sales Team at the account level as needed. Assist operations with deliveries of products to customers during peak volume periods and holidays throughout the year.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:

Merchandising Functions:

• Make daily calls to assigned on and off premise accounts according to our service policy’s frequency schedule to maximize all displays, point of sale, shelf positioning and cold box opportunities, back bar and store front signage that enhance sell through of our product.
• Set merchandising priorities based on acquiring the best display locations to ensure high visibility for both display and signage.
• Install displays according to set procedure, specifications and creativity

• Monitor, maintain and improve shelving and cold box placements, including assisting the sales divisions with new placement locations.
• Assist set up salesrooms and event sites for kickoff meetings and events according to manager’s specifications.
• Deliver glassware and large promotional kits to on premise accounts.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, properly stocked van or car to maximize display time.
• Assist in POS /Perma Trak system with POS will calls, documentation, receiving and restocking all existing and incoming POS deliveries
• Manage an assigned account base to ensure work priorities are completed in a timely manner.

Merchandiser is responsible for having the issued tools with him for every sales call: Basic merchandising supplies such as tape, Velcro, window sign tools (squeegee, water bottles) staple gun, markers, price signs, current branded POS

MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:

Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operation, set-up, inspection, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation. AND/OR Operate mobile equipment in congested areas or involving considerable variety of movement.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Must have the ability to remain stationary for an extended period of time, ability to move about and position self to be able to create displays, ability to ascend and descend ladders and stairs, and perform repetitive motions.

Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
