Job summary

Jacent is seeking a Merchandiser to work in communities across North America, placing products, building displays and collaborating with store personnel. This role supports North Carolina communities and requires residing within 20 miles of Whiteville/Lumberton, NC.

This position offers daytime hours with 0–32 hours per week, paid training, mileage and travel time reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement within a leading impulse merchandising company.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter who learns quickly and works well independently or in a team.
• Able to adapt to changing environments and schedules.
• Excellent communication skills with store personnel and partners.
• Strong organizational skills to manage merchandising tasks and time.
• Physically capable of standing/walking 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Resident within 20 miles of Whiteville/Lumberton, NC to support local stores.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with in-store management and staff.
• Execute merchandising resets and build attractive displays.
• Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
• Implement plan-o-grams and maintain product placement accuracy.
• Travel between stores; mileage and travel time are paid.
