Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits is seeking a Merchandiser I to perform merchandising duties, build displays, and stock SGWS products in retail accounts. You will install promotional materials to meet display objectives and ensure products are showcased as directed.

The role requires one year of experience, a reliable personal vehicle, and a valid driver's license with auto liability insurance. Shift: Tue–Sat (days); location in Tacoma/Lakewood, WA. Must be 21+.

Pay: $19-$22 per hour plus auto allowance. New hire $500 sign‑on bonus and $500 retention bonus after 6 months.

Overview

The Merchandiser I is responsible for performing merchandising activities, constructing displays, and stocking SGWS products in retail accounts as requested by sales teams or retail customers. The Merchandiser installs promotional point‑of‑sale materials to achieve display objectives and stocks products as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Build displays and update pricing and special offers within an assigned territory.
• Maintain positive relationships with retail customers.
• Ensure all company products are properly displayed.
• Install point‑of‑sale materials as directed.
• Stock products on shelves, displays, and cold boxes as necessary.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• One year of experience.
• Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance in compliance with SGWS requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Physical Demands

• Activities include sitting, typing, and using a computer or mobile device.
• Walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
• May require lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 48 lbs.

This is a safety‑sensitive position and requires a drug test for conditional offer of employment.
